**Psychology is a discipline examining many topics related to human emotions such as fear, love, hate, and human behaviors such as murder and heroism, and also cognitive processes such as language and creativity. It also investigates the relationship between all these and the human body and brain using scientific methods in very creative and interesting ways.** Behavior researchers use scientific methods in their studies. They use a bio-psycho-sociocultural perspective to study human problems. There are many applied areas in psychology such as clinical psychology, school psychology, health psychology, and industrial and organizational psychology. By holding of any graduate degree in different subareas in psychology, they become a specialist. Psychology, as a rapidly growing field, requires training programs that are well prepared to keep up with this dynamism. Guided with this insight, each academician in our undergraduate program closely follows the developments in their field of interest, actively conducts studies, and has a keen motivation in collaborating with and teaching students what the field of psychology has to offer. Students who have completed a course of study in the field of psychology are awarded the degree of the Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (BA). The Department of Ceramics offers a specialist programme that combines traditional production techniques and contemporary art. The four-year BA (Hons) degree programme in the field of ceramics and glass art has the vision of providing students with practical skills in creating and presenting their own original works through workshops and learning material chemistry and traditional techniques. The programme is based on a triadic bond between technical education, critical thinking and historical perspective that encourages students to demonstrate their artistic practice with ceramic and/or glass material as part of their intellectual and critical inquiry. A wide range of practice-led studios and workshops offer common strategies for creative thinking, complemented by lectures and seminars where visual arts and history meet in the fields of philosophy, psychology, architecture, design, technology and natural sciences.

#### Overview Psychology students are trained to apply psychological data and findings to a range of different working scenarios. They learn to reflect on the many areas of the social sciences, explore and question, as well as to actively contribute to their own personal goals and to the general enhancement of society.
