Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel (CAU)

Kiel University (CAU) was founded in 1665. With 27,000 students and around 3,700 employees, it is the oldest, largest, and most renowned university in the state between the seas and the Baltic Sea, and the only comprehensive university in Schleswig-Holstein. Seven Nobel laureates have worked here. Since 2006, CAU has participated successfully in the Excellence Initiative.
