University of Kaiserslautern

The University of Kaiserslautern, now known as RPTU (Rheinland-Pfälzische Technische Universität Kaiserslautern-Landau), is a major public research university in Germany. Formed in 1970, it serves over 20,000 students across two campuses. It is highly regarded for technology, science, and engineering.RPTU is the only university of technology and science in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate. It is unique because its campus sits right inside the UNESCO Palatinate Forest biosphere reserve.
